Florida Georgia Line is teaming up with the Backstreet Boys for a song on their new album, Dig Your Roots. Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter confirmed the collaboration on Monday (6/27) when he wrote this message on Instagram. Carter said, “In the studio with my @backstreetboys recording a song for @flagaline new album. Also working on the new backstreet album as well. Get ready!!!”
A few weeks earlier, Nick had posted photos of him with FGL’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard while in Nashville for CMA Fest.
FGL may have been hinting at the collaboration in May when they performed Backstreet Boys’ hit “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” at a show in Rapid City, South Dakota. Before they launched into the song, the duo confessed that they were big fans of the boy band growing up.
